The Honey Directory
Not only do the bees produce delicious honey but they also pollinate the fruit that goes well with De Winkel yoghurt too.
Apiarists (Bee keepers) up and down New Zealand tend to the hives and help protect the bees from Varroa mite and other threats.
Our countries diverse flora means that the bee’s honey can taste completely different depending on where they live. Whether it is Manuka honey from the Coromandel Peninsula or white clover honey from South Canterbury, there are so many delicious flavours to try. We think eating honey is a great way of supporting the bee keepers as they look after the bees, and we also think New Zealand honey just goes so well with De Winkel yoghurt!
