Spiced apple, oat & honey smoothie
Serves: 2 large jars or 4 regular glasses
Prep time: 15 minutes
2 medium Granny Smith apples, seeded, cored, quartered
1 frozen banana (or add a few cubes of ice with a fresh banana)
1/3 cup rolled oats
1 cup De Winkel Plain Unsweetened Yoghurt
1 cup milk
2 tbsp runny honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra for serving (optional)
Pinch each of ground nutmeg & ground ginger
Add all ingredients to a blender. Pulse until smooth, sprinkle the top with extra cinnamon if you wish.
TIP: Before placing bananas in the freezer, remove the skin and place in gladwrap or an airtight container. Or, if you don’t have any frozen bananas, use a fresh banana and a few cubes of ice.
